As a Forward Deployed Lead / Principal Engineer, you will own the architectural direction and delivery for major digital transformation programs, focusing on platforms that power generative AI and agentic systems. You will align target-state cloud architectures with enterprise goals, guide technical direction, and collaborate with AI engineers. Expect hands-on work in cloud platforms, IaC, security, and meaningful stakeholder engagement while mentoring teams. Responsibilities
  • Design and build target-state cloud platforms across Azure, GCP, and AWS
  • Establish enterprise Kubernetes platforms and GitOps delivery with ArgoCD
  • Develop self-service developer frameworks and landing zones using Terraform and Helm
  • Architect platforms hosting generative AI systems (LLM hosting, LLM gateways, agentic workflows)
  • Guide legacy modernization, microservices migrations, and API integrations
  • Implement end-to-end security in CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes security, and access controls
  • Oversee connectivity and network security, including TLS, DNS, and secure endpoints
  • Define architectural standards and guardrails (policy-as-code, OPA, secrets management)
  • Instrument platforms for observability (Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry)
  • Provide architectural oversight across multi-disciplinary workstreams and unblock teams
  • Codify reusable patterns, capture field learnings, and mentor engineers hands-on
  • Translate enterprise requirements into technical roadmaps for senior stakeholders
Key requirements
  • 8–10+ years in enterprise or platform architecture with client-facing transformations
  • Deep hands-on expertise across Azure, GCP, and AWS (landing zones, networking, IAM, cost governance)
  • Strong Kubernetes, GitOps (ArgoCD), and IaC (Terraform, Helm) skills
  • Hands-on security across CI/CD, Kubernetes namespaces, managed identities, and hyperscaler access
  • SSL/TLS certificate management, DNS zone administration, secure network access
  • CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and microservices/API architectures
  • Observability stacks (Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry)
  • Experience with generative AI platforms: LLM hosting, LLM gateways (LiteLLM, Portkey, Kong AI Gateway), and MLOps/LLMOps
