Forward Deployed Infrastructure Engineer - UK Government

As a Forward Deployed Infrastructure Engineer at Palantir, you design, operate, and scale high-performance services deployed with customer teams. You’ll automate workflows, improve reliability, and support production systems across Foundry and Apollo platforms. You work closely with cross-functional teams to diagnose issues, implement robust infrastructure, and migrate deployments using cutting-edge tooling. This role blends hands-on engineering with mission-critical impact for government and commercial customers.

• Handle support and operations of Palantir software, including monitoring, upgrades, and configuration management
• Deploy new Palantir products at customer deployments and perform migrations to latest infrastructure types
• Debug and optimise services for long-term reliability and scalability
• Automate manual workflows, runbooks, and processes
• Provide technical troubleshooting for production issues with timely resolution
• Participate in a support on-call schedule
• Develop solutions in Foundry and Apollo to address infrastructure challenges

• Strong engineering background
• Proficiency in Java, Go, Python, JavaScript, or similar languages
• Security clearance or ability to obtain one
• Experience with large-scale production systems and technologies (load balancing, monitoring, distributed systems, configuration management)
• Excellent communication and ability to work in multi-functional teams
