Senior Forward Deployed Software Engineer at ServiceNow leads end-to-end GenAI-enabled solutions in the field, combining backend services, LLM pipelines, and frontend integrations. You’ll work directly with customers to design and deliver production-ready, scalable AI-powered applications. The role blends system design with hands-on delivery, building reusable patterns and tooling to accelerate enterprise AI adoption. You will shape platform evolution through field insights and deliver high-impact, secure systems.
Responsibilities- Build solution-ready LLM-enabled applications spanning backend, data orchestration, and UI
- Collaborate with customers in live environments to adapt and deploy solutions
- Codify reusable assets (libraries, prompts, scaffolds) to accelerate future engagements
- Shape developer experience by feeding back to platform and product teams
- Deliver production-ready solutions in agile end-to-end sprints
- Engineer with focus on APIs, orchestration pipelines, vector databases, LLM frameworks, UI components
- Integrate with legacy systems and navigate ambiguity while shipping safely
- Influence platform by contributing to SDKs, tools, and extensible code
- 10+ years of software engineering experience
- 2+ years building systems in customer-facing or embedded roles
- Proven ability to design and implement AI-native software in production
- Backend expertise (Python, Node.js, Java); frontend (React, Angular); APIs (REST/GraphQL)
- Familiarity with LangChain, Semantic Kernel, prompt chaining, vector search, and context management
- Skilled in debugging distributed systems, latency tuning, and monitoring
- Experience deploying in AWS, Azure, or GCP with CI/CD, containers, and infra-as-code
- Willingness to travel up to 30% to embed onsite
