Founding Engineer | ML & Data Science | London Based Start-Up

In this founding role you will own the core ML and data systems from day one, shaping both technology and product alongside the founding team. You will move ideas from experiment to production, ensuring reliability in messy data environments where mistakes are costly. You’ll collaborate closely with founders and customers to steer the product roadmap and technical direction. Expect high ownership, rapid experimentation, and a direct impact on the company’s early growth and strategic direction.

• Build and own core ML and agentic systems for planning, scheduling and disruption response
• Take ideas from experiment to production and ensure reliability with messy data
• Collaborate with founders and customers to shape product and technical road map
• Move fast, test bold ideas and ship effective solutions

• 1-5 years' experience putting ML models into production
• Strong academic background in ML, CS, Mathematics or related field (ideally)
• Hands-on experience across experimentation, evaluation and deployment
