FP&A Corporate Finance Manager

Lead FP&A, forecasting, and financial modelling for SMYTHE, supporting Canadian operations and its planned US subsidiary. The role is hands-on and commercially focused.

As FP&A & Corporate Finance Manager, you will own reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic analysis. You will manage the Finance Associate, oversee close activities, and build financial infrastructure for international growth. The position combines corporate finance, operational oversight, team leadership, and cross-border compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner on budgeting, long-term planning, and strategic forecasting
• Develop rolling forecasts and monthly variance analysis
• Build models and business cases for growth decisions
• Establish US reporting structures and transfer pricing governance
• Manage close processes, cash forecasts, and internal controls

Requirements:

• CPA designation and 5+ years of progressive finance experience
• Strong FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and modelling experience
• NetSuite or comparable ERP proficiency and advanced Excel skills
• Experience managing reporting, close processes, and internal controls
• Junior team leadership and cross-functional communication experience
