Overview
As an FPGA Engineer at Roke, you will design and validate digital logic, implement real-time DSP algorithms, and integrate hardware with software and systems teams to deliver mission-critical NS solutions. You’ll work on high-speed interfaces and lab verification, contributing to secure, advanced sensing and communications products. Responsibilities- FPGA design, simulation, synthesis, and implementation of digital logic circuits
- DSP algorithm development, simulation, and optimization (e.g., FIR/IIR, FFTs, I/Q demodulation)
- Hardware interfacing with high-speed digital interfaces (ADC, DAC, PCIe)
- System integration with embedded software, PCB design, and systems engineering
- Debugging and lab testing using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators
- Proven FPGA design experience (VHDL/Verilog) and DSP algorithm implementation
- Strong VHDL/Verilog and MATLAB/Simulink proficiency
- Embedded C/C++ or Python for testing and automation
- Knowledge of digital communication theory and RF principles
- DV clearance eligibility or ability to obtain DV clearance
