In this Framework Lead role, you will steer end-to-end delivery of complex water and wastewater projects within AMP8 frameworks. You operate within an integrated project delivery team to safeguard safety, quality, timeliness, and budget adherence, while shaping buildable solutions with designers. You will mentor delivery professionals, manage multi-disciplinary workstreams, and maintain strong client relationships. This position offers impact through leading critical infrastructure work that supports utility networks and community renewal, with a clear focus on safety and commercial performance.
Responsibilities- Plan and coordinate multiple projects up to 10 million in value
- Lead Principal Contractor duties under CDM 2015
- Implement HSQE procedures and promote proactive safety culture
- Manage project programmes for timely delivery
- Oversee commercial aspects including budget and margins
- Provide line management to Site Managers, Engineers, and Foremen
- Coordinate supply chain partners and drive performance
- Act as primary client contact and deliver regular progress updates
- Chair project meetings and document actions and decisions
- Manage change control and risk with clear communication
- Collaborate with designers for buildable, cost-effective solutions
- Mentor project delivery teams and ensure method statements and risk assessments are in place
- Plan and secure resources and materials to meet schedules
- Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar Project Manager role within the water industry
- SMSTS (CITB)
- CSCS (Manager Level)
- CDM Awareness
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial management
