Fraud Detection Analyst Toronto

Analyze suspicious activity and protect Tangerine customers as a Fraud Detection Analyst in Toronto, working across products, alerts, and transactions.

This analyst supports Tangerine’s Fraud Operations Team in Canada by investigating alerts, assessing risk, and mitigating fraudulent activity. The work protects customers, minimizes financial losses, and supports compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures. You will also communicate with customers and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate suspicious activity across Tangerine products and fraud alerts
• Analyze accounts and transactions to determine appropriate action
• Contact customers to validate activity and resolve concerns
• Identify emerging fraud trends and potential compromise points
• Support inbound fraud teams and established performance indicators

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Customer service experience, preferably in financial services
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills
• Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication
• Availability for non-standard hours, including weekends and holidays
