Fraud Detection Analyst Toronto

Analyze fraud alerts and investigate suspicious transactions as a Fraud Detection Analyst with Tangerine in Toronto, Ontario. This role uses a hybrid work model.

You will support Tangerine Fraud Operations by detecting, investigating, and mitigating fraudulent activity across products. The position protects customers and minimizes financial losses while following regulations, policies, and operational controls. Strong analytical judgment, customer communication, and problem resolution are central to the work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze fraud detection alerts for suspicious activity
• Investigate questionable transactions across Tangerine products
• Contact customers and determine whether accounts require blocking
• Respond to large-scale fraud attacks and identify compromise points
• Report emerging fraud trends and activities to management

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Customer service experience, preferably in financial services
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills
• Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication
• Availability for fixed shifts, weekends, and holidays
