Overview
In this role you will shape the front-to-back web platform for a luxury travel company undergoing a major transformation. You work closely with business leads and vendors to design and implement tools that automate processes and improve pricing and management information. You’ll enhance the company site (Umbraco) and integrate with business systems and data warehouse. Your work will span complex change projects with multiple stakeholders, delivering solutions on time and within budget.
Responsibilities- Design and implement web-based tools to automate business processes
- Implement enhancements to the company website (Umbraco)
- Interface with business systems and data warehouse to deliver required functionality
- Analyse processes to identify automation opportunities with the business lead
- Design and validate technical solutions including database design and vendor approaches
- Lead or contribute to multi-stakeholder change projects
- Possibly manage suppliers to ensure timely, budget-aligned delivery
- Manage risks and issues proactively
- Full Stack development experience (ASP.NET, C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, ReactJS, AngularJS, MS SQL Server)
- CMS experience with Umbraco (preferred)
- CI/CD and related tools (Git, Github, Jenkins, Docker, Vagrant, Chef, Puppet, Selenium)
- Azure cloud services experience
- Experience with REST APIs (OpenAPI/Swagger)
- PowerBI, PowerQuery, DAX & M (optional emphasis)
- Other API formats (JSON, XML, SOAP)
- Experience in automated business processes and QA approaches (TDD/BDD)
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and vendors
- Retail Travel Industry domain knowledge (preferred)
