Overview

In this Front End Developer role, you will own the design and development of data-rich user interfaces and client dashboards within a startup-backed investment management setting. You’ll join a small, collaborative team and influence technical direction while applying TS/React to cutting-edge trading systems. The role offers onsite work in Newcastle with room to grow as the product and platform scale. You’ll work closely with cross-functional partners to deliver impactful, reliable front-end solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Own technical projects from conception to delivery
  • Design and develop data-rich user interfaces and dashboards for trading systems
  • Collaborate with a small team and work independently to drive results
  • Apply modern software engineering practices across the full SDLC
  • Leverage new and emerging technologies to improve the front end
Key requirements
  • 2.1 BSc in Computer Science from a Russell Group university
  • Strong front-end experience with TypeScript and React
  • Good knowledge of software engineering best practices across the full software development lifecycle
  • Solid understanding of CS fundamentals (OOP, data structures, design patterns, algorithms)
  • Collaborative mindset and problem-solving orientation
