Front End Engineering Associate Manager (GenAI experience)

As Front End Engineering Associate Manager, you will lead client-facing frontend engineering efforts within Accenture Song’s Agentic Commerce practice. You’ll shape and scale web and mobile experiences using modern frameworks, embedding AI capabilities to enhance product outcomes. You will drive delivery across large digital programmes, establish technical direction, and mentor teams to raise quality and velocity. The role blends hands-on engineering with strategic advisory, in a global, collaborative environment.

• Drive measurable growth and delivery impact across client product engineering practices
• Shape and scale client product and platform engineering capabilities (operating model, team topology, delivery practices)
• Build trusted senior client relationships and align stakeholders on outcomes, scope, and success metrics
• Lead engineering across large digital and agile transformation programmes to improve predictability, quality, and pace
• Set web front-end technical direction (architecture, standards, governance) and champion quality (testing, accessibility, performance, observability)
• Identify, prototype and scale Generative AI use cases in products and delivery workflows with responsible adoption
• Grow and retain high-performing teams via coaching, feedback, hiring support, and progression paths
• Create and evolve reusable assets (Next.js accelerators, design system patterns, delivery playbooks) and represent the practice internally and externally
• Partner with Product, Design, Data and Engineering to deliver user-centred web products from discovery to production

• Front end engineering experience
• Experience with modern web frontend technologies and frameworks (React/Next.js)
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills and modern React patterns (hooks, context, state management)
• Experience with frontend testing strategies/tools (Jest/Vitest, React Testing Library, Playwright/Cypress)
• Accessibility-first delivery (WCAG) and semantic HTML/testing
• Web performance optimisation (Core Web Vitals, bundle analysis, code-splitting)
• Experience building with Next.js (SSR/SSG/ISR, routing, data fetching)
• UI fundamentals (responsive design, CSS, cross-browser compatibility)
• Contributing to/evolving design systems/component libraries
• Frontend build tooling (Vite/Webpack, monorepos, linting/formatting, dependencies)
• Production observability and debugging (frontend monitoring, error tracking, analytics)
• Frontend security fundamentals (XSS/CSRF, secure auth, client-side data handling)
• Use of Generative AI within workflows/products
• Proven scalable AI-enabled solutions
• Experience integrating cloud services via GraphQL/REST APIs
• Experience in agile digital product environments
• Broad experience in Systems Architecture, Platform & SRE, Quality Engineering, CI/CD
