In this role you lead front-end engineering teams to deliver high-impact digital experiences for clients. You work with cross-functional colleagues to shape product and platform capabilities, driving modern engineering practices and AI-assisted development. You’ll mentor and raise delivery quality across large agile programs, while advancing design systems and frontend architectures. This is a client-facing, transformation-focused position at a global, innovation-driven firm.

Responsibilities
  • Support growth within the customer technology product engineering practice
  • Advise clients on building product and platform engineering capabilities and teams
  • Build strong client relationships focused on customer, digital and platforms
  • Lead teams across large digital and agile transformation programmes
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, Data Scientists and Engineers to deliver user-facing products
  • Propel the use of Generative AI within our work and products
  • Contribute technology and engineering thought leadership to clients and teams
  • Maximise team performance through mentorship and career development
  • Contribute to developing offerings, assets and capabilities, and participate in events
Key requirements
  • 4+ years' front-end web development with TypeScript/JavaScript (Node.js tooling or equivalent)
  • 2+ years' experience leading engineering teams or squads
  • Experience with Design, QA, Cloud, PM/PO/Delivery collaboration
  • Strong experience with modern front-end frameworks (React or similar, Next.js), including state management
  • Hands-on use of Generative AI in engineering workflows and products
  • Experience building, maintaining and scaling design systems and component libraries
  • Experience integrating front-end with backend/cloud via GraphQL and REST
  • Extensive experience in agile environments for digital product creation
  • Broad experience in modern front-end engineering practices (architecture patterns, performance, security, testing, CI/CD, accessibility)
