Front End Software Engineer

Join CGI as a Front End Software Engineer to design and deliver high-performing, accessible web applications within a collaborative Agile team. • Develop and deliver responsive, accessible web applications
• Transform UI/UX designs into clean, reusable code
• Integrate with back-end services and consume REST APIs
• Optimize performance, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility
• Troubleshoot and debug front-end issues
• Participate in peer reviews and promote engineering best practices
• Write unit and integration tests
• Evaluate emerging front-end technologies and propose improvements
• Deliver within Agile Scrum teams to meet project goals
• Maintain accessibility, security, and web standards across solutions

• Strong commercial experience in HTML5, CSS3/Sass, JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
• Expertise with at least one modern framework (React, Angular, or Vue.js)
• Experience integrating and consuming REST APIs
• Solid understanding of responsive design and performance optimization
• Proficient with Git and browser developer tools
• Experience writing unit and integration tests
• Knowledge of WCAG accessibility and secure development practices
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
