Front Office Application Engineer

Build front-office applications in Toronto using full-stack development and user-focused design for TD Securities’ trading and quantitative teams.

As a Front Office Application Engineer, you will develop business applications, workflow solutions, dashboards, and analytics tools. You will work with traders, salespeople, quantitative analysts, and technology partners. The role combines software engineering, application design, financial markets exposure, and direct user collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance applications used by front-office teams
• Design intuitive interfaces improving productivity and user experience
• Build frontend and backend features across applications
• Gather requirements and translate business needs into solutions
• Integrate applications with trading and market data platforms

Requirements:

• Programming skills in Golang, Python, C++, JavaScript, TypeScript, or SQL
• Experience developing modern web applications and user interfaces
• Experience building frontend and backend solutions
• Understanding of APIs, architecture, and system design
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities
