Frontend Developer

Design & develop modern, responsive web applications using ReactJS and TypeScript/JavaScript- working in a cross functional agile delivery team within the UK public sector.

Responsibilities

• Translate designs and user requirements into production-quality software. Build reusable, maintainable components and frontend services. Integrate frontend applications with REST/GraphQL APIs and backend services. Deploy and manage services in AWS (ECS, Cognito, SQS). Exposure to containerisation using Docker/Kubernetes. Collaborate across DevOps, design, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions. Maintain code quality through GitLab CI/CD and peer reviews. Proven experience in Frontend development with React.js Strong understanding of HTML/CSS/Vanilla JS fundamentals. Experience with other frontend frameworks (Next, Vue, etc.) Familiarity with CI/CD best practises. Be comfortable with backend API's, databases and DevOps workflows/CI/CD.
• Proficiency in AWS services and cloud-native deployments. Comfortable working in agile, collaborative environments.

Your Role

You'll be building secure, scalable web applications across the frontend, touching on some NodeJS too, contributing to mission-critical digital services used across the UK public sector.
