Frontend Developer

We’re recruiting an experienced Front-End Developer to support the delivery of a major UK government digital programme.

You’ll join a collaborative delivery team responsible for developing high-quality digital services. It’s an opportunity to do more than simply work through a backlog. You’ll contribute to technical decisions, share good engineering practice and help the wider team deliver effectively.

What we’re looking for

• Strong commercial front-end development experience
• Excellent skills in TypeScript
• Experience working with Node.js and Nunjucks
• Previous experience working within a UK government organisation
• Experience collaborating within a multidisciplinary delivery team
• A proactive approach to sharing knowledge and improving technical practices
• Confidence contributing to technical discussions and decisions

Previous UK government experience is essential for this role.

• IR35: Inside IR35
• Location: Hybrid, with travel to London, Leeds or Manchester around once per month
• Clearance: Active SC clearance is preferred. Candidates with a strong likelihood of meeting SC eligibility requirements will also be considered.
