Overview

In this role you will own the frontend of the first major customer platforms, turning complex energy data into clear, actionable interfaces. You’ll work with data and backend teams, engage with customers, and shape the product from the ground up in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment. The position offers high visibility within a small team and the chance to influence product direction and architectural choices. You’ll leverage AI-powered tools to boost productivity and quality.

Responsibilities
  • Build customer-facing platforms to visualize energy data (consumption, costs, billing, asset performance) and own the frontend codebase and architecture
  • Translate operational and commercial data into clear UI patterns and actionable views; develop reporting and performance views for customers
  • Establish frontend practices (component library, testing, conventions) to scale as the team grows
  • Engage directly with customers and stakeholders to understand needs and balance speed with maintainability, using AI-powered tooling where appropriate
Key requirements
  • Strong frontend fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and modern framework experience, ideally React
  • Track record of shipping customer-facing products with measurable impact
  • Good product instinct and ability to think beyond briefs to user needs
  • Ability to work with limited direction in a fast-moving environment
  • Clear communication of technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders
