Overview
In this role you will reshape the frontend stack for a fintech software house serving major banks, driving a UX-first approach and modern UI components. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to modernize the UI, improve testability, and extend enterprise-grade solutions. You’ll tackle architecture upgrades, prototype new components, and contribute to secure and scalable frontend solutions. This is a hands-on, tech-focused environment that rewards thoughtful, high-quality code and rapid problem solving.

- Rearchitect the UI framework to improve testability and reduce library coupling
- Upgrade the UI rendering library from AngularJS to a long-term solution
- Collaborate with UX to implement a UX-first design approach
- Support feature-focused scrum teams with complex requirements
- Research and apply best practices, including application security
- Coordinate with other development teams to identify and implement use cases
- Build prototypes and convert them into enterprise-grade components
- Assist in debugging and troubleshooting across the frontend stack
- Contribute to initiatives like NLP text processing, OCR metrics, and data reconciliation workflows
- Engage with RESTful APIs and scalable cloud-style architectures (containers, microservices) to extend applications
- STEM degree preferred (strong academic background)
- Strong understanding of JavaScript; TypeScript knowledge preferable
- Proficiency with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML)
- Experience with web component design
- Exposure to AngularJS and frontend modernization context
