Overview

In this role you will own the frontend of the eCommerce site and related internal apps for a luxury travel brand. You’ll partner with backend and design teams to enhance UI/UX and deliver responsive, accessible experiences. You’ll voice the customer perspective in usability discussions and help drive fast, SEO-friendly interfaces. This is a hands-on, customer-focused role in a digital team with real impact on conversion and user satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Own the frontend of the eCommerce website and implement continual UI improvements
  • Collaborate with backend and design to deliver better UI & UX
  • Participate in design discussions and advocate for usability from the customer perspective
  • Develop across wireframes and full designs to deliver responsive websites and internal apps
Key requirements
  • 3–5 years experience in frontend development with Javascript and HTML
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS & React
  • Proven ability to deliver multiple responsive websites
  • CMS experience, preferably Umbraco
  • Experience consuming REST APIs (OpenAPI/Swagger) and data formats (JSON, XML, SOAP)
  • Good knowledge of technical SEO and Lighthouse for performance
  • Experience working in Agile/Kanban with JIRA and Confluence
  • Familiar with Git and source control
  • Collaborative team player
  • User-focused mindset (voice of the customer)
  • Good communicator and able to participate in design discussions
