Full-Cycle Accounts Payable Specialist

This experienced Accounts Payable Specialist independently manages the complete accounts payable function within a lean finance team. The work includes invoice processing, coding, reconciliations, payment support, and vendor management. Strong accounting fundamentals, problem-solving, and organizational skills support accurate, timely processing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process, code, reconcile, and support payments for invoices
• Manage vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies proactively
• Allocate operating expenses across departments and general ledger accounts
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and prepaid expenses
• Support month-end close and process improvement activities

Requirements:

• Minimum three years of full-cycle accounts payable experience
• Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• Knowledge of debits, credits, journal entries, accruals, and prepaids
• Intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookup functions
• Strong organization, communication, judgment, and independent problem-solving abilities
