Overview

As a Full Stack Developer – Data Engineering in the Data Obfuscation team, you design scalable, secure data platforms for enterprise protection. You’ll work across on-prem and multi-cloud environments to deliver resilient data solutions and automation. Your work supports modernization, observability, and cost efficiency while enabling secure data processing at scale. You will partner with cross-functional teams to deploy AI-powered, metadata-driven data protection capabilities that protect unstructured data.

Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver on-prem and multi-cloud database solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and Python
  • Build high-performance data and metadata pipelines with robust error handling and parallel execution
  • Develop secure, scalable database/ETL capabilities and RESTful services with governance in mind
  • Create full-stack applications with responsive UIs, APIs, and integrations with database/ETL platforms
  • Enable self-service, dashboards, workflow automation, and metadata-driven tooling via modern web tech and microservices
  • Develop AI-driven data protection solutions using NLP and automated data masking techniques
  • Create automations to support firmwide data engineering and app development teams
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives around system modernization, platform standardization, observability, and cost efficiency
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines including ETL, performance optimization, and data movement
  • Work with backup/restore, DDL manipulation, schema/object-level flows, and time travel with data platforms
  • Implement pushdown optimization, ELT, Spark-based processing, replication, partitioning, and change data capture
Key requirements
  • 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Proven experience designing complex database and data solutions with full-stack development
  • Extensive experience with PostgreSQL, DB2, SQL Server, Snowflake, MongoDB, Oracle, etc.
  • Hands-on skills in Java/Spring Boot, Python, REST APIs, and Angular
  • Strong understanding of API design, microservices, and secure authentication mechanisms (OAuth, tokens)
  • 2+ years of Python for multi-threaded/multiprocessing/async work; Spark experience a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience with AI/LLMs, RAG, or agentic workflows is a plus
  • Experience with Talend, Kafka, Informatica for data pipelines (preferred)
