Position: Software Engineer - Full Stack

Mandate description:

Software Engineer for AI Engineering team developing and delivering AI solutions for Broker Submissions parsing and automation. This is an integration-focused initiative supporting Intact's AI-enabled pricing solution. The project's goal is to collect brokerage information, process and analyze it, and automate insurance quoting and underwriting.

The team is developing a globally scalable platform that leverages AI and automation to accelerate specialty insurance underwriting workflows. OpenAI is already fully integrated into the solution, and the team is continuing to enhance and operationalize AI capabilities across the platform.

The role will have exposure to:

Exigences minimum / Minimum requirements:

Bachelors degree in computer engineering, computer science, or any combination of equivalent education and experience.

Minimum of 5 years of significant experience in development.

Proficiency in the following technologies: TypeScript, React, AWS, REST / Swagger.

A good knowledge of Python and TypeScript.

A knowledge of AI concepts, GenAI, RAG and MLOps best practices.

Experience with automated UI testing.

Well documented and ability to make complex concepts easy to understand.

This is a Contract position based out of Toronto, ON.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $90.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
