What you'll do

  • Architect and build responsive, high-quality web apps in React and TypeScript, with Node.js/TypeScript on the backend
  • Lead design and development of scalable, high-performance applications
  • Apply best practice in security, accessibility and performance
  • Build reusable components and libraries
  • Run code reviews, testing and debugging to keep standards high
  • Keep up with emerging trends in software development and blockchain
  • Mentor and technically lead junior developers
  • Work with product managers, UX designers and other teams to improve usability
  • Improve engineering processes, including tooling, CI/CD and testing

What you'll bring

  • Proven software development experience, ideally React plus Express/NestJS
  • SQL and database design on an RDBMS such as PostgreSQL
  • Frontend state management (e.g. Redux)
  • Git, CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks
  • Solid grasp of performance optimisation
  • Ability to lead technical discussions, mentor others and drive best practice
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong collaboration and communication

Nice to have

  • Hands-on experience or knowledge of blockchain (e.g. Ethereum, Algorand, Hedera)
