Full Stack Developer

Position: Full Stack Developer (Java & React)

Location: Toronto, ON - Hybrid (2-3 days/week in office)

Salary: $110,000-$140,000 CAD + up to 10% STI

Our client is looking for a Full Stack Developer to join their growing engineering team here in Canada. This is a full-stack role with a stronger focus on front-end development, working primarily with React while contributing to backend services using Java and Spring Boot. The team works on modern enterprise software and encourages the use of AI-assisted development tools such as Claude and Cursor.

Core Responsibilities

• Build and maintain full-stack features using React and Java/Spring Boot
• Develop and integrate REST APIs and backend services
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and Engineering teams to deliver new features
• Participate in technical design discussions and code reviews
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve development workflows

What They're Looking For

• 5+ years of software development experience
• Strong Java/Spring Boot experience
• Strong React experience
• JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• TypeScript is a strong bonus
• Experience with REST APIs and SQL/databases
• Enterprise software development experience
• Docker/Kubernetes and cloud experience is an asset
