Overview

In this role you will build and maintain scalable web applications using a modern stack, collaborating with Product, Design and Engineering to deliver high-quality user experiences. You will own features end-to-end from concept to deployment and help shape engineering standards while mentoring peers. Expect to work on both frontend and backend with a focus on performance and reliability in a high-traffic SaaS context. This opportunity lets you influence technical direction while working with a modern tech stack and a remote-friendly team.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain web apps using React, Next.js, Node.js and Nest.js
  • Develop scalable APIs and backend services
  • Design and optimise PostgreSQL databases
  • Deploy and support applications on Microsoft Azure
  • Write clean, tested TypeScript code
  • Collaborate with Product and Design to enhance user experiences
  • Participate in code reviews and mentor other developers
Key requirements
  • 5+ years of commercial full stack experience
  • Strong experience with React, Node.js, Next.js, Nest.js and TypeScript
  • Experience with PostgreSQL and REST APIs
  • Exposure to Microsoft Azure and CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Jest, Playwright, Cypress or React Testing Library
  • Collaborative approach with excellent communication skills
  • Experience mentoring developers or leading technical initiatives
