Overview

In this role you will drive the design and implementation of web-based tools to automate business processes within a luxury travel company undergoing a major transformation. You will work as part of a cross-functional team, liaising with vendors and internal stakeholders to deliver technical solutions and website enhancements. You will assess technical options, architect solutions, and help manage supplier interfaces to meet budget and timelines. This is a hands-on position with opportunities to coordinate multi-party projects and contribute to data and automation initiatives that improve pricing and management information.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement web-based automations for business processes
  • Enhance and evolve the company website (Umbraco CMS)
  • Interface with business systems and data warehouse to deliver required functionality
  • Analyze processes with business leads to identify automation opportunities
  • Evaluate and validate proposed technical approaches, including database and vendor solutions
  • Lead complex change projects with multiple stakeholders and suppliers
  • Possibly manage suppliers to ensure on-time, in-budget delivery
  • Proactively manage risks and issues
Key requirements
  • 3–5 years of commercial experience in a retail travel domain
  • Proven track record delivering projects with in-house and/or third-party teams
  • Ability to design and architect solutions to complex business problems
  • Full stack development experience (ASP.NET, C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, ReactJS, AngularJS, MS SQL Server)
  • CMS experience with Umbraco
  • Continuous Delivery tools and practices (Git, Github, Jenkins, Docker, Vagrant, Chef, Puppet, Selenium)
  • Experience with Azure cloud services
  • Experience implementing business process automation
  • Experience developing and consuming REST APIs (OpenAPI/swagger)
  • PowerBI, PowerQuery, Dax & M
  • APIs in JSON/XML/SOAP
  • Test-driven and behavior-driven development
