Overview

Senior full-stack engineering role building and enhancing modern digital platforms using React, Next.js, C#/.NET and Microsoft Azure. The role combines hands‑on development with technical design, cloud engineering, platform resilience and mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain secure, scalable web applications, APIs and digital integrations.
• Build modern front-end applications using React and Next.js.
• Develop backend services and REST APIs using C# and .NET.
• Drive technical design decisions and contribute to architecture and engineering standards.
• Develop cloud-native solutions using Microsoft Azure, including CI/CD and observability.
• Collaborate with Product, UX, Architecture and business teams on digital platforms and technology modernisation.
• Investigate complex production issues and lead root cause analysis.
• Improve platform performance, resilience, security and operational excellence.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to reusable services and engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Strong experience with React and Next.js.
• Strong C# and .NET experience building backend services and REST APIs.
• Practical Microsoft Azure and cloud‑native development experience.
• Experience with Git, GitHub Actions and modern CI/CD practices.
• Strong understanding of accessibility, SEO, security, performance optimisation and SQL.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and mentoring skills.
• Experience with enterprise‑scale digital platforms is advantageous.
• Terraform/IaC, Sitecore XM Cloud, Vercel, Playwright, Storybook, GraphQL, CodeQL or SonarQube experience is a plus.
