Full Stack Engineer

Salary $100-110K onsite Downtown Vancouver

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain scalable front-end and backend applications .
• Develop with Angular/React, Node.js and Express .
• Design and integrate REST APIs and microservices .
• Build applications using SQL and NoSQL databases .
• Work with AWS cloud services .
• Support automated deployments, CI/CD and infrastructure/environment-as-code practices.
• Create automated tests and troubleshoot issues across the full stack.
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with product, design and engineering teams.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of software development experience .
• Strong experience with Angular and/or React .
• Experience with Express.js, REST APIs, web services and microservices .
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases , including MongoDB.
• Hands-on AWS experience (EC2, S3, RDS, SQS, API Gateway, DynamoDB or similar).
• Experience with automated deployment tools such as Ansible, Chef or Puppet .
• Good understanding of DevOps, CI/CD and environment-as-code .
• Experience creating automated test suites.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns and distributed/messaging architectures.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

• Open-source contributions on GitHub or NPM .
• Experience with HTML, CSS/SCSS, Bootstrap, responsive design and MySQL.
