Full Stack Engineer

Wakefield, WF4 - Hybrid - 3-days a week in office

Impactive IT is recruiting for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join a growing software business developing a multi-tenant SaaS platform for the equipment rental industry. You’ll work across backend services, frontend applications, APIs, databases and server environments. A key part of the role will be investigating production issues, finding the root cause and delivering reliable fixes that prevent them from happening again.

What you’ll be doing:

• Resolving technical and production issues across the platform
• Developing and deploying fixes, enhancements and improvements
• Working across PHP, Vue.js, TypeScript, SQL Server and APIs
• Supporting releases, deployments and incident resolution
• Improving platform performance, stability and maintainability
• Using tools such as Claude Code to accelerate development without compromising quality

What we’re looking for:

• Full-stack software engineering experience
• Experience with APIs, relational databases and cloud/server infrastructure
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• An understanding of architecture, testing and Git
• A calm, proactive approach and ownership through to resolution
• Experience with PHP, Vue.js, TypeScript, SQL Server, RabbitMQ, CI/CD or multi-tenant SaaS platforms would be particularly useful.
