Full Stack Engineer

As a Full Stack Engineer at AJ Bell, you will build scalable services that power our apps and websites. You join a cross-functional squad to deliver API, web, and data-layer solutions with a focus on reliability and customer experience. You will shape technical direction through architectural input and collaborate closely with Product and Design to translate problems into effective engineering outcomes. This role offers ownership, continuous improvement, and the chance to impact how customers access and manage their investments.

• Develop full stack features across APIs, web apps, data layers and third-party integrations
• Design, build and deploy secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions
• Contribute to architectural decisions and shape product direction
• Collaborate with Product, UX and Business to translate problems into solutions
• Own code from idea to deployment, monitoring and improvement
• Foster continuous improvement and share knowledge across the team
• Support cross-functional collaboration within an Agile squad
• Deliver performant, reliable customer-focused experiences

• 5+ years' experience developing web applications and APIs
• Strong experience with Node.js, TypeScript, React, MongoDB and SQL (or similar) ,
