Overview

In this role you will shape the offer terms for iwoca’s broker channel, building backend pricing and frontend UI that brokers use in the Introducer Portal. You’ll own features end-to-end, contribute to roadmap decisions, and collaborate with pricing and data science to improve Customer Lifetime Value. The work blends backend systems with some frontend work, in a cross-functional, experimentation-friendly environment. You’ll help scale solutions that enable faster access to funding for SMEs.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement backend systems that calculate offer terms in production
  • Own features end-to-end from scoping to production and maintenance
  • Collaborate on roadmap, balancing speed with long-term system health
  • Develop frontend UI components for the Introducer Portal used by brokers
  • Support A/B testing and data-driven decisions to improve Customer Lifetime Value
  • Work with pricing, data science, and engineering to deliver model-based pricing and related features
  • Improve display and testing of offers for brokers and customers
  • Upgrade commission systems and related broker-facing capabilities
Key requirements
  • Backend engineering experience with production systems (preferably Python, Django, PostgreSQL)
  • Frontend engineering experience with production UI (preferably TypeScript and React)
  • End-to-end feature ownership and delivery responsibility
  • Ability to discuss trade-offs and justify design decisions
  • Experience building or leveraging AI-powered workflows to scale output
  • Clear, concise communication tailored to audience
  • Bonus: DevOps, containers, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Bonus: experience with A/B testing or product experimentation
  • Bonus: knowledge of lending, payments or pricing systems
