Full Stack Engineer (Graph DB) - UK, Hybrid (Software Architect I)

In this hands-on role you will help design, build, and modernize the Global Data Network to securely share and analyse fraud intelligence. You will work across backend services, data platforms, cloud infrastructure, and UI to evolve a cloud-native, API-driven architecture. The role focuses on transforming legacy data-sharing into a scalable, real-time, graph-powered platform that enhances fraud detection. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance solutions in a hybrid Leeds/London setting.
Responsibilities- Design and evolve the Global Data Network platform
- Lead migration from CSV-based data sharing to cloud-native API-driven architecture
- Develop backend services for real-time fraud data ingestion, processing, and distribution
- Model graph-based data structures to reveal relationships between entities
- Build scalable Azure-based solutions and participate in architecture decisions
- Develop APIs for real-time data exchange across systems
- Contribute lightweight UI components for visualising graph connections
- Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and product teams to deliver performant solutions
- Strong Full Stack experience with backend focus
- Java (preferred) or Python
- Experience building distributed, cloud-native APIs
- Solid Azure cloud service experience and modern architectures
- Solid data modelling and database design knowledge
- Experience with Graph Databases (Neo4j, Cosmos DB Gremlin, or similar)
- Ability to model complex relationships and entity networks
- Experience on real-time or near real-time data platforms
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar)
