Full Stack Engineer - React/Typescript - Python (VP)

In this VP role, you will help build greenfield trader-workflow services as part of Strategic Equity Solutions within Citi's Equities Technology. You will work in an agile, autonomous team translating business needs into scalable software, with end-to-end ownership from design to production. The role emphasizes improving trader efficiency, adopting new technologies (including AI tooling), and delivering rapid value through frequent releases. You’ll collaborate with business partners and mentor peers, within a hybrid work environment.

• Design and develop high-performance software from concept to production
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and own product requirements translation
• Write clean, well-documented code following engineering best practices
• Champion engineering excellence and mentor junior engineers
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies, including AI tooling
• Own the full software development lifecycle in a DevOps-centric setup

• Proficiency in Kotlin and/or Python for backend development
• Experience with microservices and scalable, resilient services
• Experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift for deployment
• Frontend experience with Python-based frameworks (Dash, Streamlit) desirable
• Strong DevOps understanding: CI/CD, automated testing, trunk-based development
• Knowledge of front office trading workflows or market data is a plus
• Bachelor in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience
