Full-stack Lead Software Engineer — Application Owner

In this role you own end-to-end technical delivery within Infrastructure Platforms, Data Center Services, while also serving as the Application Owner for one or more applications. You will build secure, scalable full-stack solutions and drive engineering excellence in a collaborative, agile team. You’ll leverage AI-assisted development tools to boost productivity and code quality, and partner with risk, TRC, and product teams to maintain governance and resiliency. This is an opportunity to shape critical infrastructure technology in a regulated, enterprise environment.

• Design, develop, and deliver full-stack solutions (Angular frontend; Node.js/TypeScript backend)
• Write secure production code and review peers to ensure quality and standards
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to improve productivity and delivery speed
• Mentor junior engineers and foster continuous improvement
• Proactively automate remediation to improve operational stability
• Own and maintain application profile and data classifications in SOR
• Collaborate with Risk and Technology Risk and Controls teams on risk and controls
• Manage application lifecycle activities including DR tests, tech refresh, capacity planning
• Ensure SDLC governance, operational hygiene, and compliance with risk catalogs and standards
• Maintain cloud security posture including data protection, encryption, and environment segregation
• Coordinate with Product Manager for uplift aligned with sprint planning
• Participate in communities of practice to promote modern tooling and best practices

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts
• Hands-on SDLC experience including design, development, testing, CI/CD, and operations
• Frontend React proficiency with state management and testing (Jest/RTL)
• Backend Node.js and TypeScript for RESTful APIs with comprehensive testing
• Strong ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience in agile teams and Scrum ceremonies; ability to facilitate ceremonies
• Experience using enterprise AI-assisted development tools and evaluating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security
• Understanding of responsible AI use and secure handling of data
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL or similar) and exposure to cloud, IaC, and OpenAPI/Swagger
• Familiarity with application lifecycle management, governance tooling, and regulatory requirements in a regulated enterprise environment
• Experience managing application risk, controls compliance, and resiliency in financial services or enterprise tech environments
