Build AI-enabled government software remotely from Canada or the United States using TypeScript, React, Node.js, and Python. Own features end to end. As a Product Engineer, you will shape practical solutions for local governments within a GovTech SaaS team. This role combines full-stack development, customer discovery, and AI-powered tooling. You will work directly with government customers to turn needs into product decisions. Key Responsibilities:
Scope, build, ship, and iterate customer-facing features Understand government customer needs through direct conversations Deliver features across frontend, backend, and AI tooling Visit customer sites to gather feedback and improve fit Work independently without detailed specifications or onboarding Requirements:
Three to eight years of full-stack product engineering experience Experience owning features from discovery through launch Proficiency with TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Node.js, Python, PostgreSQL Familiarity with AWS, REST APIs, and AI or LLM integrations Computer science degree or equivalent technical background Apply full-stack engineering, customer communication, and AI integration skills to modernize local government software remotely.
