In this role you will build high-performance, data-driven web apps for a major global fintech client. You’ll bridge front-end work with ExtJS/HTML/CSS and a Python-based backend to handle millions of daily requests. You’ll work in an agile environment, prototype new tech, and help shape the architecture for an ultra-low latency trading platform. Responsibilities
  • Design, develop and test high-performance, scalable web applications with a Python backend
  • Build professional browser-based interfaces using ExtJS, HTML and CSS
  • Work in an agile, fast-paced development environment
  • Prototype new technologies and contribute to architectural decisions
  • Leverage open source solutions where appropriate to improve performance
Key requirements
  • JavaScript
  • ExtJS (preferred) or other frameworks
  • Django and Python development experience
  • 5+ years of commercial development experience
  • Python ecosystem and MVC
  • HTML5
  • CSS3
  • MySQL or PostgreSQL
  • CS degree
