Full Stack Software Developer ATB

Build full stack applications at ATB using React, Node.js, Python, TypeScript, Java, and Google Cloud Platform. Work across the software lifecycle.

As a Software Developer, you will design, develop, test, deliver, maintain, and improve applications. You will optimize ATB user experiences and workflows while working with products, teams, customers, businesses, and industries driving Alberta’s economy. The environment includes microservices, Linux, Kubernetes, continuous integration, code review, automated testing, Scrum, and Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, code, unit test, and integrate new features
• Build applications, APIs, and data solutions
• Develop automated test harnesses for quality delivery
• Maintain documentation for deployment, support, and business needs
• Explore ideas through experiments, prototypes, and feedback

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent
• Working knowledge of general-purpose programming languages
• Experience with full stack frameworks and languages
• Knowledge of source code management and development tools
• Understanding of secure coding best practices
