Overview

In this role you will own the end-to-end stack to turn sophisticated AI outputs into production-ready solutions for global clients. You will collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and cross-functional teams to deploy high-impact software. You’ll build scalable frontend and backend architectures and develop data pipelines and cloud infrastructure as part of broader AI systems. This position offers the chance to work at the frontier of responsible AI within a fast-growing team focused on national security and AI safety, with a strong emphasis on practical, secure solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Deploy technically sophisticated, high-impact software in cross-functional teams
  • Build reliable, scalable frontend and backend architectures for AI systems
  • Create data pipelines and cloud infrastructure as part of broader AI solutions
  • Provide deep technical guidance to customers on complex requirements
  • Own the full application lifecycle from development to production
Key requirements
  • Backend development in Python (FastAPI)
  • Full-stack experience with TypeScript and frontend frameworks (React or Vue)
  • Experience deploying software in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Containerisation with Docker
  • Scientific, pragmatic mindset with balance of prototyping and maintainability
  • Ability to work autonomously and communicate effectively in a team
  • Comfort with taking ownership of problems
