Full Stack Software Engineer

We are partnered with an Investment Management business based in London, who are looking to hire a Full Stack Developer to join their technology team. This role sits within a key Engineering function, working on business-critical trading, research and pricing applications used across the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partnering with business stakeholders to understand workflows and translate requirements into clear technical scope and acceptance criteria
• Owning assigned tasks and projects end-to-end, from discovery and solution design through development, testing, release, deployment and post-release support
• Developing, enhancing and maintaining features across the Trading and Pricing applications, with a focus on reliable, maintainable solutions
• Contributing to technical design decisions alongside the Software Engineering team, ensuring alignment with architecture and engineering standards
• Building and enhancing front-end features using React
• Developing back-end Python services and APIs using Django, integrating with Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL
• Supporting CI/CD pipelines and deployments using Azure and AWS services, Terraform and serverless functions
• 4+ years within an Investment Management or buyside related company
• Strong hands-on experience with React, including component-driven development and modern UI libraries
• Hands-on experience with Python and API development
• Experience with database integration using Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows
• Knowledge of Azure App Service, serverless functions (Azure Functions or AWS Lambda), and terraform are nice to have.
