Role Description

Role Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Implement well-scoped UI and API changes in TypeScript.
• Write tests for the behavior you change.
• Fix bugs in the create-server and dashboard flows.
• Participate in software design and code reviews.
• Work with engineering, QA, and design on features that ship.
• Support a high-quality experience for server owners.
• Coursework or project experience as a Software Developer or in a similar role.
• Strong programming, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience developing software with AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot as part of a regular workflow.
• Hands-on experience with React.
• Experience working with Node.js and NPM, or a close equivalent.
• Willingness to read existing code before rewriting it.
• Experience with Git for source control.
• Able to overlap Eastern Time during the internship.
• Commitment to continuous technical and professional development.
• Commitment to delivering a high-quality customer experience.

Preferred Requirements

• Experience developing web applications using modular and componentized approaches.
• Familiarity with test automation tools and strategies.
• Experience with tRPC, Postgres, or similar TypeScript API stacks.
