Full Stack Technical Lead Toronto

Lead full stack engineering across five Agile pods with Angular, Node.js, Spring Boot, and AWS Lambda in a hybrid Toronto setting.

CGI’s Financial Services team needs a Technical Lead to own architecture consistency, code quality, and cross pod reuse for a major banking client. This hands on leadership role partners with Scrum Masters while mentoring Dev Leads and developers across onshore and offshore teams. You will champion GitHub Copilot, guide technical decisions, and remove engineering blockers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own reference architecture and coding standards across five pods
• Review critical paths and enforce technical review rigor
• Coach Dev Leads through mentorship and design walkthroughs
• Drive reuse of shared components, services, and libraries
• Escalate integration, environment, and design blockers early

Requirements:

• 10+ years in full stack software engineering
• 3+ years leading technically across multiple teams
• Deep Angular, Node.js, and Spring Boot proficiency
• Working AWS Lambda and serverless design experience
• Experience with mobile architecture and AI-assisted development
