Build TypeScript products across AWS Lambda and React Native at Bree, owning features from discovery through release. Ship customer value quickly with pragmatic engineering judgment.

As a Software Engineer focused on product and mobile, you will work across Bree’s serverless backend and mobile applications. You will shape rough ideas into scoped releases, collaborate with design and product, and balance reliability with momentum. The work spans Node, REST or GraphQL APIs, testing, and observability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ship full-stack features from product discovery through release
  • Develop across TypeScript, Node, AWS Lambda, SQS, and React Native
  • Make pragmatic decisions when product specifications are incomplete
  • Add logging, metrics, alerts, and tests for stable releases
  • Improve existing surfaces and reduce technical debt

Requirements:

  • Startup experience shipping products in lean environments
  • Fluency in TypeScript, Node, React, and React Native
  • Comfort with REST or GraphQL APIs
  • Experience with AWS serverless or equivalent event-driven systems
  • Portfolio or GitHub showing personally shipped projects
