Overview
In this role you design, build, and deploy secure, scalable software within the Digital Document Services team to support the firm's core objectives. You work in an agile, cross-functional environment, delivering production-ready solutions and high-quality code. You will leverage data insights to inform architecture and collaborate across disciplines to drive improvements. Responsibilities- Execute end-to-end software solutions across design, development, and troubleshooting to produce production-ready applications
- Deliver secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms synchronized with relevant systems
- Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications adhering to standards
- Analyze large, diverse data sets to inform technical decisions and visualize insights
- Identify data patterns to improve coding hygiene and system architecture
- Contribute to engineering communities and explore emerging technologies
- Foster a culture of diversity, inclusion, and collaboration within the team
- Leverage enterprise-authorized AI coding assist tools to enhance quality, speed, and productivity with peer review, automated testing, and secure coding practices
- Apply SDLC toolchain knowledge, including AI-assisted development and automation, to maximize automation value
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts with practical experience
- Experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages
- Hands-on coding, debugging, and maintenance in a large-scale environment with modern languages and SQL/NoSQL databases
- Experience with server-side Java (Core Java, J2EE), XML, JSON, Spring Framework
- Web applications and REST APIs development with relational (Oracle/Sybase) or non-relational (MongoDB) databases
- Git, CI tools (e.g., Jenkins), and automation/testing tools (Selenium, Cucumber, Flyway, Concordion)
- Linux, shell scripting, and application servers (Apache, Tomcat, Spring Boot)
- Frontend technologies (Angular, TypeScript, React) and UI testing tools (Jasmine, Karma, Jest)
- Cloud-native platforms (AWS, Kubernetes, or private cloud)
- Experience with enterprise AI-assisted development tools and responsible AI practices
