Fullstack Software Engineer III - Java

In this role, you will design, develop, and troubleshoot secure, scalable software solutions within Platform Engineering to support the firm's business objectives. You will work on complex problems across multiple technical areas and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver trusted technology products. You will leverage AI-assisted development tools and follow secure coding standards to improve quality and speed. Your work will include architecture design, data analysis for continuous improvement, and ensuring resilience and security across systems.

• Design, develop, and troubleshoot software solutions, tackling complex problems beyond routine approaches
• Produce secure, high-quality production code and maintain efficient algorithms
• Leverage enterprise-authorized AI coding assist tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity with peer review and secure coding standards
• Create architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure design constraints are met by software code development
• Analyze large, diverse data sets to visualize and report for continuous improvement of software applications and systems
• Identify hidden problems and patterns in data to drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture
• Apply SDLC tools and automation capabilities to improve value realized by automation

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts with advanced applied experience
• Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
• Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools with ability to evaluate, validate, and refine outputs for correctness, performance, and security
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity and secure handling, and adherence to resiliency and security expectations; ability to guide peers
• Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
