Overview
In this role you will design and develop responsive websites for an international company in Central London. You will work on ecommerce-focused platforms, balancing frontend and CMS tasks to deliver robust user experiences. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement Shopify and WordPress solutions, optimize performance, and ensure accessibility. You will shape how the site scales with data-driven practices and integrations, delivering reliable, admin-friendly backends. This is a hands-on, problem-solving role with a strong emphasis on quality and timeliness.

- Develop and maintain responsive websites and themes
- Customize and extend Shopify themes using Liquid and API integrations
- Manage WordPress backend environments for admins
- Perform data migration and synchronization between Shopify and WordPress
- Implement ecommerce integrations with ERPs, warehouses, POS, and other third-party apps
- Optimize performance, SEO, and accessibility (WCAG/ADA)
- Leverage analytics tools (Google Analytics, GTM) to drive data-informed decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively under tight deadlines
- 4+ years of web development experience
- Proficient in JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS/SCSS
- Experience with Shopify and Liquid templates
- AWS experience (Lambda, S3, API Gateway) desirable
- Node/NPM; SQL and/or NoSQL databases desirable
- CMS implementation and server-side programming knowledge
- Shopify development experience including custom themes
- Data migration between Shopify and WordPress
- Strong understanding of performance optimization and accessibility practices
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
