Functional Lead - Dynamics 365 Finance

Ideal candidate for this role shall have experince on working with global design authority for Dynamics 365 Finance on a multi-country rollout, setting up the global template and deciding where regions may depart from it, working closely with the CFO and the Finance leadership team.

Key responsibilities:

• Own the global Finance design: chart of accounts, financial dimensions, legal entity structure, intercompany, consolidation and inventory costing.
• Lead design workshops with the CFO and senior Finance stakeholders to agree on global standards and settle complex requirements.
• Review and approve Finance functional designs against the global template and compliance requirements.
• Lead the Finance consultants in each region, so the global design is applied consistently.
• Assess regional requests to deviate from the template and approve or reject them.
• Design the Finance side of postings from procurement, inventory, sales and landed costs with the SCM leads.
• Advise financial close, statutory and management reporting, financial controls, VAT and country localisation.
• Oversee Finance data migration and reconciliation and sign off Finance readiness for each rollout phase.

Requirements:

• At least 10 years across Finance, ERP and financial transformation programs.
• At least four D365 Finance or Dynamics AX implementations, two or more as Finance Lead or Solution Architect.
• Professional accounting qualifications: ACCA, ACA, CA, CIMA or CPA.
• Deep knowledge of general ledger, chart of accounts, financial dimensions, intercompany accounting, consolidation and inventory costing.
• Experience designing and governing a global template across multiple entities and currencies.
• European ERP rollouts, with an understanding of regional reporting and compliance.
• Credibility with CFOs and senior Finance teams.
• Retail, luxury goods or wholesale distribution.
• Electronic Reporting and European country localization, including VAT reporting.
• MB-310 (Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate) or equivalent experience.
