Fundamental Equity Research Analyst

As a Fundamental Equities Analyst, you will cover the resource sector for strategies focused primarily on the Canadian market. You will produce proprietary analysis, balance qualitative and quantitative factors, and serve as a subject matter expert. The work includes research, recommendations, reporting, and collaboration with portfolio managers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct fundamental research across energy and mining companies
• Build and maintain detailed financial models
• Develop investment recommendations for portfolio managers
• Write detailed investment thesis and company event reports
• Analyze news and events with timely views

Requirements:

• Five to seven years of relevant experience typically required
• Post-secondary degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• In-depth analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving skills
• Strong written, verbal, collaboration, and influence skills
• Ability to prioritize concurrent work with accuracy and detail
