FX eTrading Java Developer - VP

In this role you will implement and evolve FX trading systems as part of Citi's global FX technology group. You will collaborate with trading and quant teams to deliver scalable, low-latency solutions that support the bank's leading FX business. You will shape system architecture, drive best practices, and ensure compliant, well-documented deliverables. • Hands-on implementation of FX trading systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across FX Trading Technology
• Drive design and development of system architecture for trading platforms
• Enhance deliverables with quality, documentation, and procedural follow-through
• Contribute to defining and applying best practices and processes across the department
• Engage directly with trading and quant teams

• Proven FX understanding (highly preferred)
• Knowledge of ultra-low-latency development practices
• Track record of building new systems and modernizing legacy ones
• Broad systems knowledge (software, hardware, networks) to define and troubleshoot solutions
• Strong communication skills across all levels
• Hands-on engineering capability with deep product/codebase analysis
