Overview
In this role you will provide day-to-day support for the FX Options trading platform, ensuring smooth operation of trading and support systems. You will collaborate with IT and development teams to deploy, configure, and enhance applications, while maintaining high availability. You will act as the primary contact for traders, diagnose issues, and contribute to testing and documentation. Responsibilities- Provide day-to-day support for the FX Options trading platform, troubleshooting and assisting users
- Collaborate with IT to deploy, configure, and maintain trading applications and infrastructure
- Monitor performance, identify issues, and implement measures for high availability
- Serve as primary contact for traders and end users, addressing technical queries
- Investigate and diagnose software/hardware issues; escalate when needed
- Work with development teams to analyze requirements and contribute to enhancements or fixes
- Conduct system testing and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, guides, and procedures
- Experience in a similar application support role for financial systems
- Knowledge of FX Options concepts and terminology
- Proficiency in supporting Windows applications
- Solid understanding of databases and SQL
- Experience with AWS/Azure
- Familiarity with FIX protocol and connectivity troubleshooting
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
